Cooperative Alliance - Office Information Systems
Associate in Applied Science (60 credit hours) The Office Information Systems program is a cooperative alliance program conducted jointly between OSU Institute of Technology and several of Oklahoma's technology centers. Office Information Systems (OIS) courses are offered at the technology centers' campuses. Required general education and support courses are offered at OSU Institute of Technology. The Office Information Systems Technology program prepares administrative information professionals to perform and coordinate administrative activities; integrate computer applications; use and support word processing, spreadsheet, database, and presentation software applications; secure, store, retrieve and archive information; plan, implement and manage projects; generate documentation; and conduct research. Administrative information specialists work with other professionals in education, health services, law, governmental agencies, and many other organizational environments. This program is part of a cooperative alliance agreement and major courses are available at select career technology centers.
